Exonerated. The incident in which the complainant reported did occur, however, the Officer's actions were lawful or proper under the circumstance.
Exonerated. The alleged conduct occurred, but it was lawful and the officer's actions were within accepted Department Policies and Procedures. The investigating officer may stipulate that an “exonerated” finding revealed policy or training issues and recommend further review in these areas.
