Common use of Expenses of Arbitrator Clause in Contracts

Expenses of Arbitrator. The fees and expenses of the arbitrator and the cost of the hearing room, if any, will be borne by the party losing the grievance. All other expenses shall be borne by the party incurring them. In the event the grievance is settled prior to the arbitration hearing, and the arbitrator charges a cancellation fee, that fee will be split equally between the City and the Union.
