Extended Day Tutoring Clause Samples

Extended Day Tutoring before school, after school, or during lunch period will be compensated at the rate of $25 per hour. It is understood that Extended Day Learning is one aspect of At-Risk and Title I programming and is intended to be an ongoing activity with students. It is not intended to replace the customary responsibility of teachers to assist students with coursework outside the time that a class or classes meet. Prior approval of the building principal is required in order to receive compensation for Extended Day Tutoring.

  • EXTENDED SERVICE 156 Upon application, a military leave of absence (without pay) will be granted to employees who are employed in other than temporary positions. This applies to employees who are inducted through a selective service system or voluntary enlistment, or if the employee is called through membership in the National Guard or reserve component into the Armed Forces of the United States.

  • Extended Illness Sick leave for extended illness (5 or more days) will be paid only during the time period in which a physician certifies the employee to be physically or mentally disabled, and only to the extent of the number of days accumulated.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • 360-Day Year Interest shall be computed on the basis of a 360-day year for the actual number of days elapsed.
