Extended Service Contracts. 18.1 Effective with the 2019-2020 school year, bargaining unit members who work in their regular assignments beyond the required 184.5 days in the school calendar, exclusive of summer school teachers, shall receive a supplemental contract. Extended service contract days shall be compensated at the bargaining unit member’s per diem rate. 18.2 Extended service contracts shall be issued for a term of not more than one (1) year, and must be renewed annually.
