Extending the Term. Before the Contract expires, We may notify You that We want to extend the Contract by any further periods stated in the Ordering Document. The Term of the Contract will be extended when We provide this notification.

If the Councils wish to extend this Agreement, they shall give the Contractor at least 1 months’ written notice of such intention before the expiry of the Term or the Extension Period (as the case may be). 3.2. If the Councils give such notice then unless the Contractor notifies the Councils within 10 Business Days of the date of such notice in writing that it is unable or unwilling to provide the Services beyond the Term, the Term shall be extended by the period set out in the notice. The Contractor shall continue to provide the Services in accordance with this Agreement during the extended term. 3.3. If the Councils do not wish to extend this Agreement beyond the Term or the Contractor serves notice in accordance with clause 3.2 this Agreement shall expire automatically on the expiry of the Term.

Any extension shall be formalized through revision of the Agreement by the OTAO and the Recipient Business Official (RBO) and shall be subject to the availability of funds.

Any request for an extension should include the justification for an extension, a revised milestone/project schedule (if applicable), and an updated budget that illustrates how the remaining funds will cover the extended period of performance.
