Common use of Extension of Terms Clause in Contracts

Extension of Terms. The District, at its discretion, may extend the term calendars to meet the needs and/or requirements for special programs (e.g., Respiratory Therapy, Mental Health, and Nursing). The District may also align a course taught at a high school with that high school’s term calendar. However, these modifications do not alter the remainder of the contract: references to weeks and terms shall be uniform and based on the District’s academic calendar.
