Common use of Exterior Building Envelope Clause in Contracts

Exterior Building Envelope. i. The exterior walls of the Building will be constructed of a unitized curtain wall system with integral ▇▇▇▇▇. The curtain wall will have alternating bands of 10’- 6” vision glass and 3’-6” spandrel glass and aluminum or GFRC mullion framework. ii. The glazing system shall have a “U” factor of 0.41 and a maximum shading heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.38 at ground level and 0.29 at all other floors. iii. Roof top mechanical equipment will be exposed on equipped pads and housed in a penthouse. The Building’s main entrance will be via a lobby with doors facing the Paseo. Large format clear glass and stainless clad doors shall provide a clean modern yet elegant feel. Warm wood finishes are included in the main lobby of the building. v. The ground level porticos provide shaded space for pedestrian access to tenant spaces and the main entry. Porticos also reinforce main site circulation pathways.
