Common use of Extra Assignments Clause in Contracts

Extra Assignments. The District and the bargaining unit member may mutually agree that the member may teach one additional period beyond his/her teaching assignment. Compensation shall be prorated by multiplying the daily rate of pay times the number of actual instructional minutes divided by the total instructional minutes of the regular day added to the members’ regular salary if the assignment is for the full year, or prorated if for less than the year. Example: $108 x 60 = $108 x 1 = $18 + $108 = $126 360 6
