Common use of Extra Work Clause in Contracts

Extra Work. a. Extra work not described in the Contract may be required. In the event COUNTY Project Manager or designee requires such work, additional compensation for this work shall be agreed upon by A-E and COUNTY Project Manager or designee prior to commencing any work. No extra work may be performed without written authorization. The appropriate fee and performance of such work shall be authorized in writing by the COUNTY Project Manager or designee, and shall not exceed amount pursuant to the DCPM. a.
