Facsimile or Scanned Signatures Clause Samples

The Facsimile or Scanned Signatures clause establishes that signatures provided via fax, email, or other electronic means are legally valid and enforceable, just like original handwritten signatures. In practice, this allows parties to sign contracts by sending scanned copies or digital images of their signatures, which can expedite the execution process, especially when parties are in different locations. The core function of this clause is to facilitate efficient contract execution and remove logistical barriers, ensuring that agreements are not delayed due to the need for physical signatures.
