FACSIMILE REPRESENTATIONS Clause Samples

The FACSIMILE REPRESENTATIONS clause establishes that documents or signatures transmitted via fax or similar electronic means are considered legally valid and enforceable as originals. In practice, this means that parties can send signed contracts or notices by fax, and these copies will be treated as if they were the original signed documents, facilitating faster and more convenient exchanges. The core function of this clause is to streamline contractual processes by allowing parties to rely on electronic or faxed copies, thereby reducing delays and logistical challenges associated with obtaining physical originals.
