Common use of Factors for RDO Flexibility Arrangements Clause in Contracts

Factors for RDO Flexibility Arrangements. (i) TD and the Unions will implement flexible arrangements (ie re-scheduling and/or changing or deferring of RDOs) in accordance with the procedures set out in this clause with respect to the RDOs in the Industry Calendar(s) set out in Part 1 Schedule 4. (ii) In programming and considering RDO Flexibility Arrangements the parties will ensure as a minimum that they: (A) Review Industry Calendar(s) and the project programme on a 3 month look ahead basis, with adjustment made either on a work area basis, Project site or Project wide basis to suit Project requirements. (B) Recognise critical programme work, and agree that flexibility will be applied to the Industry calendar(s) to reasonably accommodate this critical programme work. (C) Move the calendar date of an RDO entitlement, or the accrual of RDO entitlements to support Project requirements. (iii) TD acknowledges the importance of the Industry Calendars set out in Part 1 Schedule 4 in providing employees with an appropriate work/life balance. (iv) The Unions acknowledge the unique programme and expenditure requirements for the Project in order to deliver water to the people of Victoria by December 2011.β€Œ (v) The objective of any flexible arrangements that are implemented will be to ensure that the programme objectives (schedule for completion) of this Project are met.
