Factory Acceptance Tests. Prior to shipment of an Automated System, ACRO shall conduct a test of the Automated System at ACRO's facility in accordance with this Section 7.4 ("Factory Acceptance Test"). The purpose of the Factory Acceptance Test shall be primarily to identify any mechanical interferences between machine members, improper adjustments made during assembly and generally to determine that the Work is in good working order. HI-POWER shall have the option to have HI-POWER Personnel present to observe the Factory Acceptance Test. ▇▇▇▇ agrees to submit to HI-POWER test data for each Factory Acceptance Test. Results of the Factory Acceptance Test will be reviewed and approved by HI-POWER and if deemed unsatisfactory the test or their parts must be repeated or extended. No Automated System shall be shipped to HI-POWER before the results of the Factory Acceptance Test are approved as successful by HI-POWER. It is understood that any material defects in materials and workmanship which may be identified as a result of the Factory Acceptance Test will be corrected by ACRO prior to delivery of shipment of the Work unless specifically directed to the contrary in writing by HI-POWER. Any defects or deficiencies discovered by the Parties shall promptly be repaired or replaced by ACRO at ACRO’s sole cost and expense, and the Automated System shall be subject to another Factory Acceptance Test.
Factory Acceptance Tests. All equipment, materials, and components specified in this section shall be factory tested to ensure the items are suitable for use at the Project and will be able to satisfy the requirements of the Agreement, including the other elements of Article 12 of the Agreement and the Performance Standards. Quality check lists and test protocols for all equipment, materials, and individual components shall be submitted by Seller prior to and during the factory tests. All equipment, materials, and components shall be “routine” or “type”-tested in the factory in accordance with the applicable standards in keeping with Prudent Industry Practice. The frequency of testing shall be as agreed between Seller and Purchaser prior to the NTP Date. Type tests shall not be repeated if type test certificates of identical equipment designed and fabricated to a specification identical to that of the Project are available. Any proposed type test certificates must be submitted to Purchaser for review and approval. The following sequence shall be included in Seller’s QA/QC Plan provided in accordance with Article 5 of the Agreement: Seller shall keep a “Three-Month Look Ahead Inspection Schedule,” which shall be updated on a regular basis as part of the monthly report to be delivered under Section 5.11 of the main body of the Agreement. Seller shall provide Purchaser notice of its intent to inspect prior to any inspection as detailed in the Agreement. Prior to notifying Purchaser of its intent to inspect, Seller shall have issued and obtained Purchaser’s approval of the relevant inspection test plan (ITP) and all other technical documentation relevant to the inspection. Purchaser will notify Seller of Purchaser’s intent to attend the inspection. Purchaser may contract with third party inspectors to attend the inspection with, or on behalf of, Purchaser. Upon completion of the inspection, Seller shall issue an inspection test report summarizing the results of the inspection, including any reports generated by the manufacturer, for review and approval by Purchaser. Seller should expect Purchaser to attend the inspections of at least the following equipment: PV Modules Inverters Trackers Step-Up transformers Inverter power transformers High voltage (HV) switchgear, if applicable Medium voltage (MV) switchgear Local control system (LCS)
Factory Acceptance Tests. 9.1. Before dispatching and shipment of any of the Products to the IAA, the Supplier shall conduct an internal final inspection testto each Product, and shall carefully inspect and test if the Products are in full compliance with Supplier's Proposal and with the technical specifications included in the SOW.
9.2. IAA will conduct a Factory Inspection Test (the "FAT"), if so required by the IAA. The Supplier shall provide the IAA with two (2) weeks advance notice prior to the expected date of the FAT. .
9.3. The FAT will be conducted according to chapter 3 (Acceptance Tests) in the SOW.
9.4. If as a result of any inspection or test carried out under this section 9, the IAA's representative has reason to believe that the Products are not in full compliance with the technical specifications specified in the SOW, it shall inform the Supplier accordingly in writing and the Supplier will be required take such steps as may be necessary to ensure such compliance within no more than 14 working days. Should such event occur, a new series of FAT shall be performed (if so required by the IAA) after all rejects have been rectified.
9.5. All FAT shall be completed to the IAA's satisfaction prior to shipment of the Products, and any failure by the Supplier to meet the requirements specified herein shall be regarded as a fundamental breach of this Contract.
9.6. All expenses relating to the performance of the FAT shall be fully borne by the Supplier.
9.7. The costs and expenses associated with the IAA's representatives presence at Supplier’s facility during the FAT, including traveling and living expenses, shall be borne by the IAA. Notwithstanding the above, if the IAA‘s representatives shall be required to extend their trip or return to the Supplier’s facility to conduct an additional FAT due to failure of the FAT, then all additional expenses with respect to the IAA's representatives presence at Supplier’s facility, during the additional series of tests held, including traveling and accommodation expenses, shall be borne by the Supplier.
9.8. Without derogating from IAA's right under section 9, should the IAA decide not to conduct the FAT, the Supplier shall perform its internal final inspection to ensure compliance of the Product with all the technical specification and submit to the IAA the test reports in writing, and unless the IAA has submitted any rejection with respect to such report, the Products shall be deemed accepted by the IAA for FAT purposes only.
Factory Acceptance Tests. Contractor shall undertake factory acceptance testing of components and systems provided by Equipment Subcontractors as required by the Project Specifications and by the inspection & test plans prepared by Subcontractors. Requirements for factory acceptance testing shall be based on Equipment criticality rating and specified in the Equipment Subcontract. Factory acceptance tests on critical Equipment and systems shall be witnessed by Contractor and by Owner, at the Owner’s discretion.
Factory Acceptance Tests. Factory acceptance tests/shop tests shall be carried out at the Vendor's works and during normal working hours. If the technical requirements of the tests are not specified in the Agreement, the tests shall be carried out in accordance with the Vendor's standard test procedures. If the Purchaser wishes to be represented at the tests, this shall be expressly stated when entering the Agreement, and in that case the Vendor shall give the Purchaser sufficient notice according to the inspection test plan to permit the Purchaser's representative to attend. If the Purchaser is not represented at the tests, including where the Purchaser is notified of testing but does not attend, the test report shall be accepted as accurate by the Purchaser. Any expenses in connection with the Purchaser’s attendance acceptance tests shall be borne by the Purchaser.
Factory Acceptance Tests. Factory Acceptance Tests shall be performed by the successful bidder on major functional areas or subsystem, which includes hardware and software.Factory Acceptance Test shall be carried out for SERVO system, Baseband system and Antenna Feed System, at OEM premises. Bidder shall ensure that the tests are performed as per the approved plan and make available the Test Reports for verification and approval from Purchaser. Purchaser will have the option of witnessing the tests at the bidder’s or its associates’ premises. The costs of participation of Purchaser’s personnel at the bidder’s or its associates’ premises shall be borne by Purchaser. The place of performance of these tests may mutually be decided based on the factors like place of fabrication, transportability etc. Purchaser reserves the right to identify a third party at a later stage for certification of FAT.
Factory Acceptance Tests. Factory acceptance tests/shop tests will be carried out at the Vendor's works and during normal working hours. If the technical requirements of the tests are not specified in the contract, the tests will be carried out in accordance with the Vendor's standard test procedures. If the Purchaser wants to be represented at the tests, this shall be expressly stated when entering the contract, and in that case the Vendor shall give the Purchaser sufficient notice according to the inspection test plan to permit the Purchaser's representative to attend. If the Purchaser is not represented at the tests - either because this was not expressly stated or because the Purchaser does not appear in spite of due notice, the test report shall at the Purchaser’s request be communicated by the Vendor to the Purchaser and shall be accepted as accurate by the Purchaser. The expenses of representation at acceptance tests shall be borne by the Purchaser, unless otherwise agreed.
Factory Acceptance Tests. Contractor and Company shall conduct a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for each SM before shipping. Contractor and Company shall jointly develop the FAT procedure which shall include the following activities:
A. Review technical documents:
1. Material receiving/inspection reports (e.g., MIV’s, valves, piping, etc.).
2. MTR’s and traceability for all structural steel.
3. MTR’s for all process contact items (e.g., pipe, flanges, fittings, o-rings, etc.) provided by the Contractor.
4. NDE (Non Destructive Examination) reports (e.g., Radiography, etc.) if NDE is required by specifications 662574.215.014523 and/or 662574.250.85002.
5. Pressure test reports.

Factory Acceptance Tests. For serial manufactured equipment Wärtsilä accept vendors authorized factory acceptance test procedures. Where the contract between Wärtsilä and the customer has specific requirements for factory acceptance tests, these shall be agreed before the test program is finalized.
