FACTORY TESTS Sample Clauses
The FACTORY TESTS clause establishes requirements for testing products or equipment at the manufacturer's facility before delivery to the buyer. Typically, it outlines the types of tests to be performed, the standards or procedures to be followed, and may specify the buyer's right to witness or review the results of these tests. This clause ensures that products meet agreed-upon specifications and quality standards prior to shipment, thereby reducing the risk of defects and disputes after delivery.

FACTORY TESTS. Owner may, at Owner's option and cost, be present ------------- at any factory testing conducted by Vendor. Vendor shall give the Owner ten (10) Business Days advance notice of any such factory testing relating to the Products or Services furnished by Vendor hereunder. Vendor shall cooperate with Owner to facilitate Owner's observation of such tests. Regardless of whether or not Owner observes any factory testing, Vendor agrees to, within a reasonable period of time in view of the nature and urgency of the request, upon written request by Owner, provide Owner with copies of all documentation relating to factory testing of the Product specified by Owner, including without limitation copies of test procedures, test results and FCC compliance certifications.
FACTORY TESTS. The Contractor will perform all necessary testing and measurements required to demonstrate compliance with the specifications prior to delivery.
FACTORY TESTS. Contractor shall perform all customary or required factory tests of all of the Materials in accordance with the requirements set forth in Exhibit A or Exhibit R or by Owner Standards. Contractor shall issue a test memorandum to Owner no later than thirty (30) Days prior to the commencement of each factory test, which memorandum shall describe the factory test to be performed, the applicable item of Material being tested, the standards and method of testing, and the testing facility’s capabilities and shall state a proposed test date. Owner’s Representative and the representative of the Independent Engineer shall be permitted to attend and participate in all such factory tests. Contractor shall provide the results of such required factory tests to Owner within ten (10) Days of the completion of each such factory test. Successful completion of such factory test shall be a precondition to shipment of the tested item of Material.
FACTORY TESTS. .1 Submit test certificates as prescribed in the relevant section of the specifications.
FACTORY TESTS. The following standard commercial factory tests in accordance with ANSI C50.13, Table 4, Generators Not Completely Assembled in Factory for Test, will be performed on the generator: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Proprietary Information Page 25 AES IRONWOOD CONTRACT FINAL ISSUE - OCTOBER 30, 1998 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mechanical
FACTORY TESTS. Cricket may, at Cricket’s option and cost, be present at any factory testing conducted by Vendor. Upon request, Vendor shall give Cricket ten (10) Business Days advance notice of any such factory testing relating to the types of Products or Services furnished by Vendor hereunder. Vendor shall cooperate with Cricket to facilitate Cricket’s observation of such tests. Regardless of whether or not Cricket observes any factory testing, Vendor agrees to provide Cricket with copies of all documentation relating to factory testing of the Product specified by Cricket, including without limitation copies of test procedures, test results and FCC compliance certifications.
FACTORY TESTS. The following tests are to be conducted on the first generator at the Contractor’s Factory. It must, however, be stressed that the Project Manager may request subsequent generators to be subjected to similar tests:
a) Sudden short circuit A symmetrical three-phase sudden short circuit test at the generator terminals is made to determine the generator reactances. The tests are conducted at the open-circuit voltage of 30% of the generator rated terminal voltage.
b) Total Harmonic Distortion The THD is to be measured as described in IEC 60034. Figures reflecting the harmonic analysis of the generator waveform are to be included in the test certificates.
c) Wave form An oscillograph of the line-to-line rated voltage wave form on open circuit of one machine is to be recorded and attached to the test certificates.
d) Zero and negative sequence reactances The zero phase sequence reactance and the negative phase sequence reactance are to be measured by approved means.
e) Temperature rise Heat runs are to be performed at rated speed and zero excitation, 100% open circuit voltage and 100% short circuit current to provide data to estimate full load conditions and to prove the design.
f) Efficiency Type tests are carried out to prove the supplied generator efficiencies.
g) Tests on generator terminal enclosure
1. Type Tests Temperature rise, short time current withstanding, power frequency voltage with- stand and impulse voltage withstand tests are carried out to a recognised code accepted by the Project Manager to demonstrate the adequacy of the design and construction of the Plant.
2. Routine Tests Power frequency voltage withstanding tests are carried out on each insulator and bushing.
FACTORY TESTS. Shop performance test and leakage test per AWWA C563, Section 5.2 or AWWA C561 as applicable to the gates provided. Feeler gauge testing is not considered an acceptable leakage test. May 2017 C01025C17 Georgetown Wet Weather Treatment Station 11101 - 2 CORROSION-RESISTANT SLIDE GATES
FACTORY TESTS. 8.1 If the parties have agreed to have factory tests on Goods to be delivered, these shall be carried out at the place of manufacture during normal working hours. The Buyer shall be notified in advance of such tests, and may be represented at the tests. If the Buyer is not represented, the test report shall be sent to the Buyer and accepted as accurate. The Buyer shall bear the costs for acceptance tests unless otherwise agreed in writing, provided however that Fluid Control shall remedy all defects found in the test at its costs.
FACTORY TESTS. All the valves shall be tested at the factory for smooth, trouble free operation and operating torque requirements by operating between fully open and fully closed position three times. The hydrostatic tests shall consists of Closed End Tests where valve is held on both sides. Each valve is subjected to three hydraulic tests.
a. Wedge open and pressure applied for 5 minutes to the whole body of the valve pressure given in Section 19.4.
b. Second Test shall be applied to one face with pressure given in Section 19.4.
c. Third Test shall be similar to second, but pressure applied to the other side of the wedge with same pressure. For valves having terminal position shall be subjected to open-end test.
