False Claims, Statutory Provisions Regarding Changes. The following statutory requirements are included in this Contract by operation of law and repeated here. In the case of any conflicts by change to the statutes or otherwise, the statute in operation on the Effective Date shall control. For the purpose of this Contract, the Commissioner of DCAMM shall be considered to be the "Chief Executive Official of the State Agency", and “Awarding Authority” shall mean “DCAMM” as those terms are used in the statutory references below and more specifically in M.G.L. c. 30, § 39Q. a. Criminal Penalties. CONTRACTOR's attention is directed to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39I which provides criminal penalties for unauthorized deviations from the plans and specifications, and to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39J, and M.G.L. c. 7C, §§ 17- 21. CONTRACTOR’s attention is also directed to M.G.L. c. 266, § 67B which provides criminal penalties for false claims by CONTRACTOR and states, in part, as follows:
