Common use of Field Investigation Planning Clause in Contracts

Field Investigation Planning.  Following the site visits described in Task 2.1, WSC will prepare a memorandum outlining the proposed field investigations required at each of the Phase I pump stations which include subsurface utility exploration, geotechnical investigations, and topographic survey.  Plan will include proposed routing of sewer lines, existing utilities to be located, extents of force main abandonment, and areas of easement acquisition that will require field investigations within private property or within the public right of way.  Upon City review and approval of the field investigation plan, WSC will incorporate City comments and distribute to subconsultants to commence the approved field investigations and to the City for the initiation of obtaining any property or right‐of‐way access approvals.
