Common use of Final Payment and Release Clause in Contracts

Final Payment and Release. The acceptance by Professional Firm or Professional Firm's successors of final payment under this Agreement, shall constitute a full and complete release of Owner from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever that Professional Firm or Professional Firm's successors have or may have against Owner pursuant to this Agreement except those claims specifically identified in writing by Professional Firm as unsettled at the time of the final request for payment.
