Firmware Sample Clauses
The Firmware clause defines the terms and conditions related to the software embedded in a device's hardware, commonly known as firmware. It typically outlines the rights and responsibilities regarding the use, updates, and ownership of the firmware, specifying whether the customer can modify or access the firmware and under what circumstances updates will be provided. This clause ensures that both parties understand the limitations and permissions associated with the firmware, helping to prevent disputes over intellectual property and device functionality.
