Common use of For School Clause in Contracts

For School. Year Employees whose long service leave is due and taken or paid out during the time this agreement is in operation, payment for such leave will be as follows: 34.7.1 The proportion of long service leave accrued prior to 18th December 1990 will be paid at the Award rate applicable to the relevant classification as per Clause 17 of this Agreement, full time or pro rata appropriate to the hours of work. 34.7.2 The proportion of leave accrued from or after 18th December 1990 will be paid at the averaged pay rate as set out in 34.3 of this Clause. 34.7.3 The rates referred to in 34.7.1 and 34. 7.2 above will be those applicable at the time of taking long service leave.
