Common use of Force Majeure Delay Clause in Contracts

Force Majeure Delay. The occurrence of an event of Force Majeure (as defined in Clause 49 (FORCE MAJEURE) shall excuse the performance by that Party for a period equal to the prevention, delay or stoppage (except the obligations imposed with regard to the payment of Rent and other sums to be paid by County pursuant to this Lease), provided the affected Party gives the other Party notice within thirty (30) days of the event causing the prevention, delay or stoppage.

Force Majeure Delay. The occurrence of an event of Force Majeure (as defined in Clause 49 36 (FORCE MAJEURE) shall excuse the performance by that Party for a period equal to the 2 prevention, delay or stoppage (except the obligations imposed with regard to the payment of Rent 3 and other sums to be paid by County COUNTY pursuant to this Lease), provided the affected Party gives 4 the other Party notice within thirty (30) days of the event causing the prevention, delay or 5 stoppage.

Force Majeure Delay.
