Foundations of HIV Testing and Navigation In-person (FTN). Prerequisites: DSHS Course Screening Questions and nine (9) e-learning courses that need to be completed for course credit including Introduction to HIV Navigation in Texas, Social Determinants of Health, Typical Client Needs, People First Language, Decreasing Stigma by Using Sexual Health Language, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing Made Easy, Status Neutral Navigation: Introduction to a New Way of Thinking About HIV, and Gender and Sexual Diversity. Pre-work: None. Post-work: Evaluation. Course Description: This in-person course provides staff who are new to HIV testing in Texas with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct a status-neutral HIV testing session. Participants learn strategies to mitigate unconscious bias, offer brief counseling on combination prevention, provide test results, and navigate clients through prevention and care continuums. This course consists of one (1) module and includes three (3) in-person eight (8) hour sessions. Duration: Twenty-four (24) hours.

Neither the Partnership nor any of the other Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any business ventures of any Limited Partner.

  • Sham Contracting and Anti-Wage Theft The Parties acknowledge the importance of complying with all applicable laws prohibiting sham contracting and wage theft including, but not limited to, the: (a) Fair Work Act; (b) Wage Theft Act 2020 (Vic) (c) Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth); and (d) Independent Contractors Act 2006 (Cth).

  • Installation, Maintenance, Testing and Repair Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, to the extent required by Applicable Law, Interconnection provided by a Party shall be equal in quality to that provided by such Party to itself, any subsidiary, affiliates or third party. If either Party is unable to fulfill its obligations under this Section 14.2, it shall notify the other Party of its inability to do so and will negotiate alternative intervals in good faith. The Parties agree that to the extent required by Applicable Law, the standards to be used by a Party for isolating and clearing any disconnections and/or other outages or troubles shall be at parity with standards used by such Party with respect to itself, any subsidiary, affiliate or third party.
