Common use of Full-time Preference on Holiday Clause in Contracts

Full-time Preference on Holiday. Full-time employees must be offered the available hours on a specified holiday before these available hours are offered to any part-time employees. However, if a sufficient number of qualified permanent full-time employees cannot be obtained, the Region shall then offer the available hours on the specified holiday to a part-time employee.
