Common use of Full-Time Unit Members Clause in Contracts

Full-Time Unit Members. 1.1. A full-time unit member may be granted a leave without pay for not more than twenty (20) assigned duty days in any one-year period, subject to the discretion/approval of the Chancellor. 1.2. A full-time unit member may be granted leave without pay for any period of time up to one year upon recommendation of the Chancellor, and subject to the approval of the Board. 1.3. Unless otherwise indicated, leaves may be extended for up to two additional years upon approval of the Chancellor, and subject to the approval of the Board.
