Common use of Further Training Clause in Contracts

Further Training. The Licensee shall reimburse the Government of Greenland for annual expenses of up to DKK 500,000 in each year of the Licence Period, commencing in year 2017. The annual reimbursements shall be made for expenses in connection with participation in courses and further training etc. of employees. Such further training shall be targeted at employees with a technical or scientific education or employees with an administrative, legal or financial background doing work directly related to mineral resource activities. The Minister for Mineral Resources coordinates the determination of persons, government entities and training etc. which may be comprised by the reimbursement of costs and decides all matters in relation thereto. The further training may consist of the following:  Participation in courses, in-house as well as external.  On-the-job training at the Licensee's premises. On-the-job training shall be defined as full-time employment which includes the performance of tasks commensurate with the trainee's education and background and representative of the mineral resource industry. If the annual expenses for further training are less than DKK 500,000, the unutilised funds are automatically transferred to the next year. The Government of Greenland shall forward a statement of the unutilised funds to the Licensee.
