Gas Operations. Based on current workload projections, Gas Operations expects to fill 1,350 IBEW-represented positions from 2013-2016. 2013 – 400 new hires or jobs awarded internally from employees outside Gas Operations 2014 – 400 new hires or jobs awarded internally from employees outside Gas Operations 2015 – 400 new hires or jobs awarded internally from employees outside Gas Operations 2016 – 150 new hires or jobs awarded internally from employees outside Gas Operations Gas Operations will deploy a dedicated Program Management Office (PMO) to manage hiring, training, on- boarding, logistics and progression.
Gas Operations. All Contractors must meet the requirements of drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT 49 CFR Part 199. Any Contractor who performs covered tasks shall be operator qualified (OQ) as defined in the DOT 49 CFR Subpart N and all applicable state requirements pursuant to the state the Contractor is working in. Additionally, any qualifications of Contractor personnel shall be in full accordance with the Company’s written OQ Plan. Refer to the most current list of covered tasks in accordance with the Company OQ Program and the Northeast Gas Association (NGA). The OQ status of Contractor employees must be regularly updated and accessible via an on-line database by Company management. This listing must detail employees’ current qualifications, current tasks to which they are qualified and the next recertification date, and provide documentation and a letter of assurance on their qualified workers as referenced in Section 3.2. Contractor personnel involved with covered tasks may require certification by the Company and an orientation of the involved tasks and Company standards. The Company reserves the right to validate Contractor qualifications prior to performing Live Gas work. Atmospheres are to be tested with a properly calibrated Combustible Gas Indicator (CGI) or Gas Measurement Instrument (GMI) in accordance with Company excavation procedures, as required. Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system, such as sloping, benching or an appropriate shoring system. At minimum, an approved 20-pound ABC fire extinguisher must be at the worksite and readily available during all routine and live gas operations, as conditions warrant.
Gas Operations. To Seller's knowledge: (a) there have been no changes in the VCW gas transmission and distribution system between January 1, 2000 and the date of this Agreement other than changes made in the ordinary course of the VCW Business; (b) VCW's propane air peaking plants are capable of normal and safe operations; and (c) None of VCW's largest customers listed in Exhibit 8 of the June 2000 Information Memorandum have "bypassed" in the period between January 1, 2000 and the date of this Agreement, and Seller has no knowledge of any such customer who plans to "bypass."

Company will conduct its business operations hereunder in a lawful, orderly and proper manner, considering the nature of such operation, so as not to unreasonably annoy, disturb, endanger or be offensive to others at or near the Premises or elsewhere on the Airport.
