Common use of General Authorization Clause in Contracts

General Authorization. Customer grants Riverbed general authorization to engage Subprocessors from an agreed list; the list of Subprocessors is set out at ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇ (“Subprocessors List”). When engaging any Subprocessor, Riverbed will: (i) ensure that any Subprocessor accesses Customer Personal Data only as necessary to perform the Services in accordance with the Agreement and this DPA; (ii) impose contractual data protection obligations to protect Customer Personal Data in accordance with the standard required by Applicable Data Protection Law; and (iii) remain liable for any breach of this DPA that is caused by any act, error or omission of its Subprocessors.
