General Question. Will KUB be installing the poles and associated 15kw devices as shown in Appendix C? RESPONSE: No. KUB will install only portions of the Appendix C Construction Guide Details. KUB will install all poles and overhead line hardware connection components required to connect to the Contractor’s prepared UG cable installation. For each riser, the Contractor will furnish and install all concrete-encased duct to each pole, all protective concrete conduit riser pedestals (2’ minimum height), and the conduit risers. All conduit risers must have protective concrete pedestals. For each riser, the Contractor will also install KUB-furnished UG cable, cable grips, cable terminators, cable compression terminal connectors, cable bracket terminals and cable tags, as well as all necessary conduit riser standoffs. Once the Contractor’s installation has been installed and approved by KUB, KUB will terminate the UG cables to our overhead line hardware/busses including the UG cable concentric neutral wires (please consult KUB for appropriate lengths).

General Question. It is our understanding that the electrical contractor will be procuring the Generator/Switchgear package, as well as the panelboards, 75kva transformers, disconnects and starters. All other medium voltage equipment and cable will be procured by KUB. Is this understanding correct?
