GEOMOTION META-GAME Clause Samples

The GEOMOTION META-GAME clause establishes the rules and framework for a supplementary or overarching game that interacts with the main gameplay experience. This clause typically outlines how players can participate in the meta-game, what actions or achievements within the primary game contribute to progress in the meta-game, and any rewards or consequences associated with it. By defining these parameters, the clause ensures that the meta-game is integrated smoothly with the main game, providing additional engagement and incentives for players, and clarifying how the two layers of gameplay interact to prevent confusion or disputes.
GEOMOTION META-GAME. ‌ We already had integrated some traces into the location-based game, including: • Completable initialized when the minigame starts • Completable progressed every time a point of interest (POI) is visited. • Completable completed when the minigame is completed, including: o Time, totalAverageSpeed and totalDistance. • Moved to POI with the POI_ID, lat and lon. • Every 3 seconds: the current position as geo-point. We have updated some of the traces due to bugs on the code: • Progress has not been sent. Now current progress is completed_pois/total_pois • As minigame closes and opens constantly, time between POIs is lost every time. This has been corrected. As game closes and opens, also the tracker session is lost. For keeping the session, user token is extracted from the tracker after starting it and saved into a cookie. The next time the game is opened, it will look for that cookie, and, if it exists, will load that user token before starting the tracker. Finally, for keeping the same session between minigame and meta-game, the user token is sent when summoning the minigame, into the url as query parameter.
