Grading Periods and Policies. Semester grades and grading policies will be outlined in each instructor's course syllabus. TJHS personnel are responsible for advising students concerning academic progress in the high school component of the course. 1. The A&M-COMMERCE Registrar will provide appropriate security and confidentiality measures for the reporting and posting of A&M-COMMERCE grades and the maintenance of transcripts. 2. TJHS students are expected to meet academic standards for A&M-COMMERCE completed coursework. Students who fail to maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 are considered scholastically deficient and can be placed on academic probation or suspension. Further coursework will be determined based upon criteria agreed upon by P- TECH and A&M-COMMERCE leadership. All grade points earned by a student will be included in the computation of the cumulative grade point average. In the case of a repeated course, the best grade recorded (as long as taken during or after Fall 2019) will be used in the computation. 3.
