Scope of Agreement and Limitations of Authority Sample Clauses

The "Scope of Agreement and Limitations of Authority" clause defines the boundaries of what the agreement covers and specifies the extent of each party's authority under the contract. It typically outlines which activities, obligations, or subject matter are included within the agreement and clarifies that parties cannot act beyond the powers expressly granted to them. For example, it may state that a representative cannot make binding commitments outside the agreed terms.
