Grievance Defined. A grievance is defined as any alleged breach by the Employer of any express term of this Agreement. If any such grievance arises, it shall be submitted to the following procedure. In order to be subject to the following procedure, any grievance must be submitted at the first applicable step within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date when the employee or the Union was aware, or reasonably should have been aware, that a grievance existed. All grievances not filed within the fourteen (14) day period are deemed waived by the aggrieved party.
