Common use of Group Grievance Clause in Contracts

Group Grievance. Where a number of employees have similar grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately, they may present a group grievance identifying each employee who is grieving to the Department Head or his/her designate within seven (7) working days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance had occurred, or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employees. The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step Number 2 and the applicable provisions of this article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

Group Grievance. The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step Number 2 and the applicable provisions of this article Article shall then apply with respect to the processing handling of such grievance.

Where a number of employees have similar grievances related to the same issue, and where each employee would be entitled to grieve separately, they may present a group grievance identifying in writing signed by each employee of the employees who is grieving are grieving, to the Department Head President/CEO or his/her designate within seven delegate, no later than fourteen (714) working calendar days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance had grievance(s) having occurred, or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employees. The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step Number #2 of the grievance procedure and the applicable provisions of this article the Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

The grievance shall then be taken up accordance with the provisions of the grievance procedure commencing at Step Any difference arising between the Employer and the Union as to the interpretation, application, administration or his/her designate alleged violation of this Agreement may be submitted in writing by either party as a grievance within seven ten (710) working days after of the circumstances giving rise to the grievance had occurredgrievance, so long as Said difference could not be processed as an individual or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employees. The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step Number 2 and the applicable provisions of this article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such group grievance.

Group Grievance. Where a number of employees have similar grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately, they may present a group grievance identifying each employee who is grieving to the Department Head or his/her designate within seven (7) working days excluding Saturday, Sunday and paid holidays after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance had occurred, or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employees. The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at as Step Number 2 of the grievance procedure and the applicable provisions of this article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievancegrievances.

The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step Number 2 and the applicable provisions of this article Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance. The time referred to in this Article may be extended by mutual of both parties.
