Health Programs. A. The Township shall maintain all present State Health Benefit Plan hospital and medical insurance programs to which Employees are presently beneficiaries, including dependent coverage. The cost of coverage for the employee and dependents will be in accordance with state law. The Township’s base plan is NJDIRECT15. If an Employee elects coverage other than NJDIRECT15, he/she shall pay all the costs above the cost of NJDIRECT15 associated with the coverage elected. The maximum for chiropractic services shall be One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). B. The Township shall continually investigate a more comprehensive group hospital and medical insurance program and, if such a program is adopted for other Township employees, it shall automatically apply to Township Superior Officers, provided substantially equivalent benefits and coverages are contained.
