Heat Exchanger. Heat Exchanger shall be cage type and made of copper/stainless steel tubes of grade X04Cr19Ni9 or X07Cr18Ni9 of IS: 1570(part 5)/1985 .Heat exchangers shall have a minimum of 0.24 sq. meters heat transfer area per 100 LPD capacities.
Heat Exchanger. The heat exchanger shall bear the ASME “H” stamp for 160 psi working pressure and shall be National Board listed. The heat exchanger shall be constructed of a fully welded 316L stainless steel and of fire tube design. The heat exchanger shall be designed for a single-pass water flow to limit the water side pressure drop.
Heat Exchanger. The Heat Exchanger is a purchased item modified specifically for use with the NovaRay system. It serves to establish temperature regulation of the water used to cool system components such as the x-ray source and deflection amplifier assembly. Specifications are: [***]
Heat Exchanger. The heat exchanger shall be a commercially available heat exchanger with a capacity of at least 400kW. The geothermal water would be connected to a heat exchanger located in the vicinity of the building. The flat plate-type high capacity heat exchanger would be used to transfer the thermal energy from geothermal water to regular city water obtained from the city network. The temperature regimes of the heat exchanger would be controlled and monitored by a special microprocessor control unit. The control unit would regulate heat losses by regulating the temperature of discharge water in the interval of 20-250C. The heat exchanger is maintenance-free and may require cleaning of its interior surfaces once a year.
Heat Exchanger. The Heat Exchanger shall be constructed with copper tubes mechanically bonded to aluminium fins to form a cross fan coil and larger surface area. Architect: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇ [37] Signature & Seal of Tenderer M/S “STUDIO 919 Architects” The fins shall have anticorrosion treatment for Heat Exchanger Coil. The treatment shall be suitable for areas of high pollution, moisture and salt laden air. The casings, fans, motors etc. shall also be with anticorrosion treatment as a standard features. The unit shall be provided with necessary number of direct driven low noise level propeller type fans arranged for vertical / horizontal discharge. Each fan shall have a safety guard.
Heat Exchanger. 9.5.1 Plumb the unit to a water-to-water heat exchanger with sufficient capacity to draw off heat at the maximum rate anticipated. Route hoses, electrical cables and instrument wires in a manner that does not influence the weighing accuracy of the scale as indicated by placing dead weights on the platform and verifying the scale’s accuracy. 9.5.2 Locate thermocouples to measure the water temperature at the inlet and outlet of the load side of the heat exchanger. 9.5.3 Install a thermopile meeting the requirements of 6.3 to measure the water temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the load side of the heat exchanger. 9.5.4 Install a calibrated water flow meter in the heat exchanger load side supply line. The water flow meter is to be installed on the cooling water inlet side of the heat exchanger so that it will operate at the temperature at which it is calibrated. 9.5.5 Place the heat exchanger in a box with 2 in. (50 mm) of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam insulation surrounding it to minimize heat losses from the heat exchanger. 9.5.6 The reported efficiency and heat output rate shall be based on measurements made on the load side of the heat exchanger. 9.5.7 Temperature instrumentation per 6.6 shall be installed in the appliance outlet and return lines. The average of the outlet and return water temperature on the supply side of the system shall be considered the average appliance temperature for calculation of heat storage in the appliance (TFavg and TIavg). Installation of a water flow meter in the supply side of the system is optional.
