Hiring Process Policy and Procedures. It is District policy that there shall be appointed to District service those persons competent to carry out the District’s public responsibility. Appointments to District positions shall be made on an objective basis considering merit, qualifications, competency, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position, pursuant to District policy.
