Common use of Hours compensated Clause in Contracts

Hours compensated. A nurse granted time off to attend an educational program outside of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇/Springfield area shall be compensated eight (8) hours at the nurse’s regular rate of pay. A nurse granted time off to attend an educational program in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇/Springfield area of less than six (6) hours, on the nurse’s regular scheduled day of work, shall have the opportunity to work for the remainder of his/her eight-hour work day, to avoid a reduction in hours compensated.

Hours compensated. A nurse granted time off to attend an 5 educational program outside of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇/Springfield area shall be 6 compensated eight (8) hours at the nurse’s regular rate of pay. A nurse granted 7 time off to attend an educational program in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇/Springfield area of less 8 than six (6) hours, on the nurse’s regular scheduled day of work, shall have the opportunity to work for the remainder of his/her eight-hour work day, to avoid a 10 reduction in hours compensated.
