Hours - Other Than Continuous Work. This subclause shall apply to shift workers not upon continuous work at hereinbefore defined. The ordinary hours of such shift workers shall not exceed:
13.2.1 Thirty-eight in any week to be worked in five shifts of up to 8 hours.
13.2.2 Seventy-six in fourteen consecutive days in which case an employee shall not, without payment for overtime, be required to work more than eight consecutive hours on any shift or more than six shifts in any week. Such ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the employer. An employee shall not be required to work for more than five hours without a break for a meal. Except at regular change over of shifts, an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty-four hours.
Hours - Other Than Continuous Work. This subclause shall apply to shift workers not on continuous work. Subject to Clause 5, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week to be worked on one of the following basis:
(i) 38 hours within a period not exceeding seven consecutive days; or
(ii) 76 hours within a period not exceeding fourteen consecutive days; or
(iii) 114 hours within a period not exceeding twenty one consecutive days; or
(iv) 152 hours within a period not exceeding twenty eight consecutive days. The ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the Company. An employee shall not be required to work for more than six hours without a break for a meal. Except at regular change over of shifts an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty four hours. Provided that: • the ordinary hours of work prescribed herein shall not exceed ten hours on any day; • in any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary working hours are to exceed eight on any shift the arrangement of hours shall be subject to agreement between the Company and the majority of employees in the plant or work section or sections concerned; and • by agreement between the Company, the Consultative Committee, the Unions and the majority of employees in the plant, work section or sections concerned, ordinary hours not exceeding twelve on any day may be worked subject to: • the employer and the employees concerned being guided by recognised occupational health and safety provisions for 12 hour shifts; • proper health and monitoring procedures being introduced; • a suitable roster arrangement being made; and • proper supervision being provided.
Hours - Other Than Continuous Work. 4.4.3.1 This sub-Clause applies to shift workers not upon continuous work. The ordinary hours of work are an average of 37.5 / 38.0 per week to be worked on one of the following basis:
(a) 37.5 / 38.0 hours within a period not exceeding 7 consecutive days; or
(b) 75.0 / 76.0 hours within a period not exceeding 14 consecutive days; or
(c) 112.5 / 114.0 hours within a period not exceeding 21 consecutive days; or
(d) 150.0 / 152.0 hours within a period not exceeding 28 consecutive days.
4.4.3.2 Except as provided for in Clause 4.4.8, the ordinary hours are to be worked

4.4.3.5 In any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary hours are to exceed 8 on any shift, the arrangement of hours will be subject to agreement between ForestrySA and the majority of employees concerned.
4.4.3.6 By agreement between ForestrySA, the Association(s) and the majority of employees concerned, ordinary hours not exceeding 12 on any day may be worked subject to the same requirements as set out in sub-Clause 4.4.2.3(c) being satisfied.
Hours - Other Than Continuous Work. 68.3.1 This clause shall apply to shift workers not upon continuous work as hereinbefore defined. The ordinary hours of work for such shift workers shall be 38 hours per week averaged over one complete cycle of the roster and shall not exceed:
(a) 40 hours in any week to be worked in five shifts of eight hours; or
(b) 80 hours in fourteen consecutive days in which case an employee shall not, without payment of overtime, be required to work more than eight consecutive hours on any shift or more than six shifts in any week;
(c) 120 hours in 21 consecutive days in which case an employee shall not, without payment of overtime, be required to work more than eight consecutive hours on any shift or more than six shifts in any week.
68.3.2 Such ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the employer. An employee shall not be required to work for more than five hours without a break for a meal. Except at regular change over shifts an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each twenty four hours.
Hours - Other Than Continuous Work. (a) This subclause shall apply to shift workers not upon continuous work as hereinbefore defined.
(b) The weekly ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 36 per week, the average hours per week being calculated over a shift cycle.
(c) The weekly ordinary hours of work shall be arranged in accordance with one of the following shift cycles: 36 hours within a period not exceeding 7 consecutive calendar days; or 72 hours within a period not exceeding 14 consecutive calendar days; or 108 hours within a period not exceeding 21 consecutive calendar days; or 144 hours within a period not exceeding 28 consecutive calendar days.
(d) Subject to the following conditions, such shift workers shall work at such times as the Company may require:
(i) A shift shall not exceed 8 hours of ordinary time work. Provided that the ordinary time of work of a shift may be altered as to all or a section of employees by mutual agreement between the Parties.
(ii) Such ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the Company.
(iii) Except at the regular change-over of shifts, an employee shall not be required to work more than one shift in each 24 hours.
(iv) An employee shall not be required to work for more than 5 hours without a break for a meal. The time may be extended to 6 hours by agreement where a tea break has been provided.

The ordinary hours of such shift workers will not exceed: ▪ 38 in any week to be worked in five shifts of up to eight hours; or ▪ 76 in fourteen consecutive days in which case an employee will not, without payment for overtime, be required to work more than eight consecutive hours on any shift or more than five shifts in any week; or ▪ 114 in 21 consecutive days in which case an employee will not, without payment of overtime, be required to work more than eight consecutive hours on any shift or more than six shifts in any week.

The ordinary hours of work will be an average of thirty-eight (38) per week to be worked or one (1) of the following basis: ▪ Thirty-eight (38) hours within a period not exceeding seven (7) consecutive days; or ▪ Seventy- six (76) hours within a period not exceeding fourteen (14) consecutive days; or ▪ One-hundred and fourteen (114) hours within a period not exceeding twenty-one (21) consecutive days; ▪ One-hundred and fifty-two (152) hours within a period not exceeding twenty-eight (28) consecutive days. The ordinary hours will be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the Company. Except at regular change-over shifts Employees will not be required to work more than one (1) shift in each twenty-four (24) hours. Provided that:
a) the ordinary hours of work prescribed herein will not exceed ten (10) hours on any day;
b) in any arrangement of ordinary working hours where the ordinary hours are to exceed eight (8) on any shift the arrangement of hours will be subject to Agreement between the Company and the majority of Employees concerned. The ordinary working hours will be an average of thirty-eight (38) hours per week, which will be worked in accordance with the basis set out in sub-clauses 4.4.2 and 4.4.3 and will be determined as follows: ▪ by Employees working less than eight (8) ordinary hours each day; or ▪ by Employees working less than eight (8) ordinary hours on one (1) or more days each week; or ▪ by fixing one (1) weekday on which all Employees will be off during a particular work cycle as described in clause 4.4.3; or ▪ by rostering Employees off on various days of the week during a particular work cycle so that each Employee has one (1) weekday off during that cycle; or ▪ by agreed arrangement between the Company and majority of Employees.

(a) The ordinary hours of such shifts shall average 38 per week. Such ordinary hours shall be worked continuously except for meal breaks at the discretion of the Employer. An employee shall not be required to work for more than six hours without a break for a meal.
