The HOUSE SUPERVISOR clause designates an individual responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a facility, such as a hospital or residential care home. This person typically coordinates staff, addresses urgent issues, and ensures that policies and procedures are followed during their shift. By clearly assigning supervisory authority, the clause ensures accountability and smooth operation, particularly during times when higher-level management may not be present.
HOUSE SUPERVISOR. A House Supervisor, employed by the DCA, will be on hand for the hours the DCA Meadowlands is in use. His/her responsibility is solely to supervise the use of the house and ensure that the client complies with all regulations and rules. Upon violation of any rules, the supervisor has the authority to order immediate correction, and/or terminate the event if the nature of the violation is severe. The supervisor will also make sure the house is set up as defined on the approved floor/seating plan, and that any decorations comply with the regulations. The house will be cleaned and prepared for the opening time of the event, but custodial services are not provided during rental hours – the client/caterer is responsible for all set-up and break-down of tables, chairs and decorations, as well as clean-up. At the end of the event, the supervisor will go over a checklist with the client/caterer to ensure all of their responsibilities are completed. All parties will sign the checklist. The DCA reserves the right to inspect the facility on the first business day after the event and to point out any discrepancies. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations concerning the care and clean-up of the facility will result in charges to correct these discrepancies that will be deducted from the security deposit.
HOUSE SUPERVISOR. Full-time hours of work for the House Supervisor shall be seven (7) hours per day, Monday to Friday with an SDO every second week. The schedule of SDO’s shall be established by mutual agreement between the Executive Director and the House Supervisor.
HOUSE SUPERVISOR. Library Ballroom will assign a House Supervisor (HS) to be on hand to open and close the building for every event. He/She will be present during the hours in which the event is taking place. The HS’s sole responsibility is to supervisor the use of the facilities and to make certain the rules and regulations are understood, and the Renter complies with these rules and regulations. The HS will also make sure that the approved floor plan is followed and that all decorations comply with the rules and regulations.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

  • Supervisor Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance. Three copies of the departmental grievance form shall be completed by the employee stating the nature of the grievance and the remedy requested from his/her departmental Management. The employee shall submit two copies to his/her immediate supervisor and retain the third copy.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.9.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the Project Manager at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.9.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.9.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times.
