HUMAN RESOURCES PERSONNEL FILE. 13.01 By appointment made at least three (3) working days in advance, excluding weekends and holidays, an Employee may have reasonable access to view his/her personnel file in the Human Resource office. An Employee may be accompanied by a Union representative when viewing her personnel file. (a) Subject to the provisions of the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act, S.A. 2003, c. P-6.5, an Employee shall be given a copy of the contents of her personnel file upon request, provided that he/she first pays to the Employer a reasonable fee, established by the Employer to cover the cost of copying. (b) In the case of a grievance, the fee prescribed shall be waived where the Employee requests a copy of material related to the grievance.
