Common use of Hybrid Loops Clause in Contracts

Hybrid Loops. Brightspeed will provide CLEC access to Hybrid Loops for the provision of narrowband services as provided below. 66.10.1 When CLEC requests access to a Hybrid Loop for the provision of narrowband services, Brightspeed may elect to provide CLEC nondiscriminatory access either to an entire Hybrid Loop capable of voice grade services (i.e., equivalent to DS0 capacity) using Time Division Multiplexing, or to a spare Copper Loop serving that customer on an unbundled basis. Brightspeed shall not be required to provide CLEC unbundled access to the Packet Switched features, functions and capabilities of a Hybrid Loop.
