Unbundled Digital Loops Clause Samples

The "Unbundled Digital Loops" clause defines the terms under which a telecommunications provider must offer access to individual digital transmission lines, or loops, to other service providers. In practice, this means that the owner of the physical network infrastructure is required to lease out specific digital loops separately, rather than only providing bundled services, enabling competitors to deliver their own services directly to end users. This clause is essential for promoting competition in the telecommunications market by ensuring that new entrants can access necessary infrastructure without having to build their own physical networks.
