Common use of Hybrid Loops Clause in Contracts

Hybrid Loops. Embarq will provide CLEC access to Hybrid Loops for the provision of narrowband services as provided below. Embarq is not required to provide unbundled access to the packet switched features, functions, and capabilities of its Hybrid Loops. 45.10.1. When CLEC requests access to a Hybrid Loop for the provision of narrowband services, Embarq will (a) Provide non-discriminatory unbundled access to the entire Hybrid Loop capable of providing voice-grade service (i.e., equivalent to DS0 capacity) using time division multiplexing, or (b) Provide non-discriminatory unbundled access to a spare Copper Loop serving that end-user.
