Image Requirements. ▪ Each image must provide all information on the front and back of the original check at the time it is presented to you by the drawer, including, but not limited to, information about the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the original check, MICR information, signature(s), any required identification written on the front of the original check and any endorsements applied to the back of the original check. The image quality must meet the standards established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association.
Image Requirements. In order for a check to be processed via Remote Check Deposit (Check 21 Plus) the check image must meet the following guidelines: (a) The check imaging device must capture the front and back of the check and be of minimum required size; (b) The image must not be too dark, too light, or too bright; (c)The check MICR information must be machine-readable and contain the bank routing number, account number, and check serial number printed on the check; (d) The MICR “on us” field value must contain valid data; (e) Check image cannot be missing or incomplete; (f) The check must be filled out in its’ entirety for the check to be processed and/or guaranteed. Any check not meeting these standards will need to be manually deposited by merchant and cannot be processed via Remote Capture Deposit. Refer to section 13.1 regarding
Image Requirements. Each Image transmitted to us or our processor must consist of legible images of the front and back of the Original Check and must provide all information that appears on the front and back of the Original Check at the time the Original Check is presented to you by the drawer. The Image must be of such a quality that the following information can be easily read by sight review of the Image: (a) The amount of the Original Check; (b) The payee of the Original Check; (c) The name and signature of the drawer of the Original Check; (d) The date of the Original Check; (e) The name of the paying bank; (f) Information that is preprinted on the Original Check in the MICR line, including the routing and transit number, the account number, the check amount when encoded, serial number and process control field; and (g) Any information that is written on the front of the Original check (including any required identification) and any endorsements applied to the back of the Original Check. The Image quality must meet the standards established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. Before you create the Image or the Original Check, you must place an endorsement on the back of the Original Check within 1½ inches from the top edge, although we may accept endorsements outside this space in our discretion. Your endorsement must include your signature and “For NCU Remote Deposit Only.” Any loss we incur from a delay or processing error resulting from an irregular endorsement or other markings by you will be your responsibility. You also agree to follow any and all other procedures and instructions for the use of the Mobile Deposit Service that we may establish from time to time. An Original Check payable to two payees must be endorsed by both payees. If the Original Check is payable to you or your joint owner, either of you can endorse it. If the Original Check is made payable to you and your joint owner, both of you must endorse the Original Check.
Image Requirements. (i) Client shall only submit to Bank for processing Files based on the following Eligible Items as source documents, and shall ensure Client uses only Eligible Items as source documents to that comply with the following: (a) all instruments must be drawn on or payable through a federally insured depository financial institution; (b) no instrument may be a starter Check; (c) each instrument must be machine-readable full-field magnetic ink character recognition (“MICR”) encoded with the bank routing number, account number and check serial number printed on the Check; and (d) each instrument must be for an amount less than or equal to the approved Check limit assigned by Bank. When Bank receives an Image of a Check transmitted from Client that that has been converted to a digital version of the original Check (a Substitute Check) for subsequent presentment and collection, it shall thereafter be deemed an “item” within the meaning of Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code. (ii) Each File transmitted by Client to Bank shall contain Images of the front and the back of Checks that are of minimum required size, not too dark, too light, or too bright, and must be legible and scanned and remotely deposited by Client. The Check MICR information must be machine-readable and MICR “on us” field value must contain valid data. Each Image of each Check shall be of such quality so that the following information (which must be included on the Image) can be clearly read and understood from sight review of the Image: (i) the amount of the check; (ii) the payee of the Check; (iii) the signature of the drawer of the Check; (iv) the date of the Check; (v) the Check number; (vi) information identifying the drawer and paying bank that is preprinted on the Check; and (vii) all other information placed on the Check prior to the Image being captured (including, but not limited to, any identification (current phone number and driver’s license number) written on the front of the check or any endorsements on the back of the Check). An Image cannot be missing or incomplete and the Check must be filled out in its entirety for the Check to be processed, and each Check and Image shall contain all proper endorsements. Each Image shall meet all standards of image quality, all requirements necessary to create a Check and must meet all technical requirements of an “electronic item” established by Applicable Law, including Regulation J. Image Requirements. All images for Included Programs must have the following attributes. JPEG format Preferred DPI of 300; Minimum DPI of 75 The image cannot contain trade logos (such as the DVD logo), references to non-digital formats (such as DVD or BluRay), or callouts to an external website. Image Requirements. Any image of a check that you transmit to us must accurately and legibly provide all of the information on the front and back of the check at the time of presentment to you by the drawer. Prior to imaging the original check, you will restrictively endorse any item transmitted through the Services as “For deposit only, Appalachian account # ” or as otherwise instructed by Appalachian. You agree to follow any and all other procedures and instructions for use of the Services as Appalachian may establish from time to time. The image of the check transmitted to us using the Services must accurately and legibly provide, among other things, the following information: (1) your endorsement; (2) the information identifying the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the check, including complete and accurate MICR information and the signatures; and (3) other information placed on the check prior to the time an image of the check is captured, such as any required identification written on the front of the check and any endorsements applied to the back of the check. The image quality of the check must comply with the requirements established from time to time by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, including the requirements under federal Regulation CC, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. Appalachian may reject your deposit if the image is not satisfactory in any way. Receipt of the image does not guarantee we can accept the image. us. We are not responsible for any image that we do not receive. Following receipt of the image, we will process the image. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, we reserve the right, within our sole and absolute discretion, to accept or reject any item for remote deposit into your account and, in the event we reject an item for remote deposit, you understand and agree that you must deposit the original item. You understand and agree that even if we do not initially reject an item you deposit through the Services, we may ask you to provide the original item, because, among other reasons, the paying bank deems the electronic image illegible. Our failure to reject such an item shall not limit your liability to us. You understand that any amount credited to your account for items deposited using the Services is a provisional credit and you agree to indemnify us against any loss we suffer (including, but not limited to attorneys’ fees and...
