Common use of Immediate Family Defined Clause in Contracts

Immediate Family Defined. For the purpose of this Section, "Immediate Family" is defined as the employee's spouse, domestic partner, child, stepchild, grandchild, parent/step-parent, brother, sister, grandparent or spouse's, child, stepchild, grandchild, parent/step-parent, brother, sister or grandparent.

For the purpose purposes of this SectionArticle, "Immediate Family" is immediate family shall be defined as as: parents, step‐parents, grandparents, or grandchildren of the employee or the spouse or registered domestic partner of the employee's spouse, and the spouse or registered domestic partner, childchildren, stepchildstep‐ children, grandchildsiblings, parent/step-parentstep‐siblings, brotheruncle, sisteraunt, grandparent nephew or spouse'sniece of the employee. As well as, child, stepchild, grandchild, parent/step-parent, brother, sister any relative of the employee living in the employee’s immediate household or grandparentother adult who has had the primary responsibility for the care and raising of the employee.
