Implantable Device Sample Clauses

Implantable Device. Payment for an implantable device, excluding eye- related implants, shall be the manufacturer’s invoice amount or the net cost to the hospital, whichever is less, plus 10 percent. Along with the hospital invoice requesting payment, submit either: o The manufacturer’s invoice; or o Other acceptable supporting documentation showing the net cost to hospital.
Implantable Device. Implantable device means an object or device that is surgically implanted; embedded; inserted; or otherwise applied; and includes related equipment necessary to operate, program and recharge the implantable device. INPATIENT SERVICES: Inpatient Services include room, board, and professional services for more than a 24-hour duration.
Implantable Device. Implantable devices must be billed under revenue code 278 or 279 and includes any ancillary devices associated with the implantable devices, such as bars, screws, or glue. Implants not included in revenue code 278 or 279 are subject to exclusion from payment. Revenue codes 278 and 279 will be paid at either (A) ; or (B) plus 10%. Current and accurate applicable documentation of Manufacturers List submitted with the invoice for items billed under revenue code 278 or 279 to be paid. The flat percentage rate provided in Section VII.A.1.i.a will be utilized for the remainder of the charges for the Hospital Services not associated with revenue code 278 and 279.
