Common use of Information Provided to the Union Clause in Contracts

Information Provided to the Union. In accordance with SPP §3-208, the employer shall provide, upon the written request of the Union, for each employee in the bargaining unit represented by the Union: a. Name; b. Position classification; c. Bargaining unit; d. Home and work site addresses where the employee receives interoffice or US Mail; and e. Home and work site telephone numbers. Where available, the Employer shall provide the Union with email addresses for bargaining unit members. The Union may present a written request for employee information twice every calendar year. The employer may charge the Union a fee not to exceed the actual cost of providing a list of employees’ names, addresses, telephone numbers and work information to the Union. Employees may notify the employer that they do not want the information described in this section released to the Union in accordance with SPP §3-208(d). The Union shall abide by the restriction concerning the use of information as provided for in SPP §3-208 (e), (g) and (h). Agencies, departments, worksites and individual facilities shall provide upon the written request of the Union, within ten (10) business days, for each employee in the bargaining unit represented by the Union: a. Name; b. Position Classification; c. Bargaining Unit; d. Worksite address to the lowest organizational unit (where economically feasible); and e. Worksite telephone information (where economically feasible).
