Initial and Continued Eligibility Clause Samples

The 'Initial and Continued Eligibility' clause defines the requirements a party must meet both at the start of an agreement and throughout its duration to remain qualified for participation or benefits. Typically, this clause outlines specific criteria such as maintaining certain licenses, financial standing, or compliance with laws, and may require periodic proof or certification of eligibility. Its core function is to ensure that only parties who consistently meet agreed standards can benefit from or participate in the contract, thereby reducing risk and maintaining the integrity of the agreement.
