Common use of Initial Membership Clause in Contracts

Initial Membership. Prior to and for a period of sixty days after the Effective Date (hereinafter the “Initial Membership Period”), an eligible public agency may become an initial Member of the Authority as follows: (1) delivering to the Authority’s Secretary a duly approved and executed copy of this Agreement; and (2) paying the Initial Membership Fee as specified in Section 5.01(a).
