Instruction Compensation. Any employee required to attend instructor training, or to conduct training of other members of the Port Alberni Fire Department, at times other than during their normally scheduled hours of work shall be reimbursed in time off in lieu at straight time. Instructor training shall be deemed as actual classroom instruction time attended. For clarity, the training programs covered by this Article are CPR, High Angle Rescue, First Responder or other training programs as approved by the Fire Chief.
