Instructional Program. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall post the existence of regular District-wide instructional program committees in each building each school year. Criteria for membership, contractual rate of pay offered, if any, and the available openings on the committees, if any, shall be listed at the time of posting. Certificated employees shall have five (5) working days after the date of posting to indicate to the appropriate administrator their desire to serve on said committee(s). Employees are not required to participate in district-wide committees outside the seven and one half (7.5) hour work day. Such participation is strictly voluntary. Administration shall not coerce or intimidate employees to participate on committees, particularly employees new to the District, and/or profession. Work required outside of the seven and one half (7.5) hour work day shall be compensated at the stated contractual rate of pay.
